Christy Tustin

KACF Executive Director

Christy L. Tustin, a lifelong resident of Great Bend, Kansas, joined the Kansas Association of Community Foundations in September 2023 as Executive Director.  Notably, Christy served on the first board of directors for KACF, working with many of her Kansas colleagues to establish the association.

For the past 20 years she served as the Executive Director of the Golden Belt Community Foundation, promoting philanthropy across Barton, Pawnee, Rush, and Stafford counties in rural, central Kansas. During that time, she established an endowed giving program significantly increasing the foundation’s assets, as well as planning for future gifts of farmland and other non-cash assets. She most recently served on the Community Foundation National Standards board of directors.

She earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and international business from Kansas State University. In addition, she graduated from Washburn University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree and was admitted to the Kansas Bar.

Christy currently serves or previously served as a member of the Health Equity Advisory Committee with the Kansas Health Foundation, the National Annual Conference for Growing Community Foundations committee, and Great Bend Rotary Club.
