KANSAS ASSOCIATION OF COMMUNITY FOUNDATIONS
HIRES NEXT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Kansas Association of Community Foundations (KACF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Christy L. Tustin as its new Executive Director. With a proven track record in the community foundation field, Tustin brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to drive KACF’s mission forward.
In her new role, which she will assume September 25th, Tustin will be responsible for spearheading the strategic plan of the association and connecting with the 107 members to evaluate which resources are most needed to help Kansas community foundations thrive.
A lifelong resident of Great Bend, Ms. Tustin joins KACF from the Golden Belt Community Foundation, where she spent the past 20 years growing endowment assets, community grants, and developing the four counties it serves. She earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and international business from Kansas State University. In addition, she graduated from Washburn University School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree and was admitted to the Kansas Bar. She previously served on the Community Foundations National Standards Board of Directors.
"We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Tustin to lead KACF,” said Eric Hozempa, KACF Board Chair, “Christy's experience, education, and regional and national contacts will be a tremendous asset to our organization.”
KACF is a membership organization founded in 2005 by a dedicated group of volunteers representing community foundations across the state of Kansas who believe in philanthropy, peer-learning, and state-wide partnerships.
