Lead the growing Rice County Community Foundation as its new Executive Director.
As the foundation starts its 25th year, it has realized a significant growth in assets over the last 2 years. This is the time for an experienced fundraiser who has an exceptional ability to generate enthusiasm for the charitable causes and increased endowment funds in Rice County.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Rice County Community Foundation is seeking an experienced leader to work with the Board of Directors, dedicated staff and members of the community to inspire a bright future for Rice County.
Job Description
The Executive Director is responsible for developing endowed funds, enhancing public relations, serving as a board liaison, providing oversight for staff and programs, and assuming fiscal responsibility for foundation operations. The Executive Director position is the public face for the community foundation. Working closely with charitable organizations, board of directors, banks, law firms, accounting firms, and general public are some of the daily activities the job entails.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will understand rural issues and be committed to the mission of the foundation. Preferably the applicant will have a Bachelor’s degree and five years management experience. The committee is looking for a trustworthy, self-starter with excellent communication skills and ability to relate to people. General knowledge of finance, sales, marketing, and administration are essential.
