Giving Tuesday, November 28

#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
Many Kansas CFs host their Matching Days on #GivingTuesday and engage community in other ways to give.

This year the Kansas Health Foundation might multiply your charitable giving with #KHFGivingTuesday
Here's how it works: Anytime between Sunday, Nov. 26 and Tuesday, Nov. 28, if you contribute to a nonprofit organization in Kansas or one benefiting Kansans, post about it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, and make sure to use the hashtag, #KHFGivingTuesday. Each time someone uses this hashtag, the organization they gave to is entered to receive an additional $200 in KHF funding.

KHF strongly encourage its grantees and organizational partners to do their own social media promotions alerting donors about this opportunity. The more times people post about giving to your organization, the more chances you have to win!
Four randomly chosen nonprofit organizations will each receive a $200 prize from KHF. Winning organizations will be announced before Friday, Dec. 1, on KHF's social media pages: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
