TOPEKA GIVES RAISES ALMOST HALF MILLION DOLLARS IN SUPPORT OF 157 ORGANIZATIONS

The Topeka Community Foundation announced today that with $73,500.00 in match money – this year’s event raised $496,288.92 to benefit 157 nonprofit organizations. This brings the four-year total of Topeka Gives events to $1,428,638.31

“These results speak volumes about our community … and how deeply people care about the great work of our wonderful nonprofit organizations in Shawnee County,” said Topeka Community Foundation President Marsha Pope.

The top three organizations receiving gifts from the highest number of donors are:
Helping Hands Humane Society76 donors
Doorstep87 donors
Topeka Rescue Mission114 donors

The top three organizations receiving highest amount of contributions are:
Topeka Symphony$17,492.14
Topeka Civic Theatre and Academy$22,354.68
Topeka Rescue Mission$24,110.59
