REUNITE UNCLAIMED PROPERTY WITH NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS

Unclaimed Property isn’t just for individuals!  Did you know nonprofits have millions in unclaimed funds sitting with state treasurers? Unclaimed property includes various payments or assets that are lost from their rightful owner and wind up being turned over to the state.

The National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators recently announced their first National Non-Profit Day, which is August 17th.  The Kansas Treasurer’s office has reached out to us to help our foundations across the state be aware of, search and claim property they may have.
