Community Foundation Capacity Building Program
The Patterson Family Foundation is pleased to announce that the Community Foundation Capacity Building Program will launch in the fall of 2024. This program supports rural community foundations within the Foundation’s philanthropic catchment with funds to hire and sustain one staff member for up to three years. The Zoom meeting on July 11th will outline the criteria and application process for the upcoming program. The Foundation will provide details on timelines, eligibility requirements, and the overall objectives of the funding program, as well as answer attendees' questions.
The Community Foundation Capacity Building Program supports small, rural community foundations without a full-time staff member. This program will provide funding to hire and sustain one staff member for up to three years. The Patterson Family Foundation believes that this investment in community foundations will help retain local assets while growing the number of donors and funds held. We believe in doing this alongside our rural communities, and current partners, and working together on a long-term solution to continue this staff position beyond the initial three years.
Please join the Patterson Family Foundation for this information and question/answer session about how to apply for the Capacity Building Program. This program will address both new applicants and those applicants who received grants in Year 1 of the program.
