This is an opportunity for representatives of Community Foundations to visit with their respective elected State representatives to discuss matters of importantance to our communities.
After our tour of the capital, we will be gathering at the Topeka Country Club for refreshments and a presentation by Bryan Clantz CFP and a President of Charitable Solutions on the topic of "Gifts of Land, Minerals, and Agricultural Stuff".
Schedule:

Prior to Arrival
You should schedule appointments with your elected state representatives.

9:00 a.m.
CF board members and staff meet at the State Capitol Visitors' Center, 300 SW 10th Ave., Topeka, KS, for an orientation by Kimberly Svaty & Roger Viola and preparation for the meeting with legislators. KACF will provide community foundations with their legislators' contact information and talking points.

9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
CF board members and staff meet with their representatives at scheduled times.

Join Capitol Tours at 10 or 11 am.

12 p.m.
Lunch social at the Topeka Country Club, 2700 SW Buchanan St., Topeka, KS

1 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Bryan Clontz' discusses the Keep 5 in Kansas efforts focusing on gifts of real estate, personal property, commodities, etc. More agricultural gifts have likely been completed in the last five years than in the previous 20 combined. So, when you are asking donors to Keep 5 in Kansas, you must have these gifts/opportunities on the menu. This interactive session will include donations of farm land, farm equipment, cattle, oil/gas interests, crops and business interests.
